I LOVE WEDDINGS!

I would have to say that weddings are definitely my favourite thing to photograph...for two reasons....one being the creative aspect.  Very important!  Each and every wedding is unique so I never feel like I am photographing the same thing twice.  The dresses, flowers, venues, etc. are something for me to look forward to each weekend!  I do meet with my couples in advance and make sure I share their vision prior to seeing the bride the morning of the wedding - but I am able to find artistic inspiration in every component of the wedding day!

I think the second, and perhaps most important reason I love to photograph weddings is the social aspect!  I have always enjoyed meeting new people and I think my friendly nature and positive attitude are a definite asset!  My main goal is to make sure the time spent with my assistant and I is comfortable, relaxed and fun!  I also like to explain what I'm doing as I am shooting, where we are going for pictures, time, poses, etc.  Keeping the wedding party and family informed builds trust and keeps the day running smoothly!

Now for the artsy part of wedding photography....please view my images!  For the most part I think they speak for themselves but I will say that I strive to be creative and unique, and to provide my couples with exquisite and timeless images of their wedding day.  My style is photojournalism mixed with classic wedding photography....basically I believe that some images definitely need to be posed and planned out to achieve the ultimate portrait and these images are discussed and planned out with the bride and groom beforehand.  The rest of the day falls into place with the candid images...I am always shooting...always looking to capture a moment!
