Family portraits....one of the most important things that a family needs to plan, however one of the biggest things we all procrastinate on!

I try so hard to make my time spent photographing a family fun and relaxing!  I always assure family members that no matter how crazy things start to get...if the baby cries or the dog won't stay seated, that it's not a big deal and in the end everyone is amazed with what I was able to capture!  And, when all else fails I can always do some photoshop magic to move someone from image to another!

Prior to photographing a family, it's so important to discuss clothing choices, location, various poses and groupings required and the overall expectations the family has to create and capture who they are at that particular time in their lives...very, very important!!!
